Technical Performance
Single row deep groove ball bearings are the most commonly used rolling bearings, which are simple structure, easy to use and low price. Basic deep groove ball bearings are composed of inner ring, outer ring, steel balls, and cage. The cages are mostly stamped steel corrugated cages or engineering plastic solid cages, while large bearings use metal solid cages. There are two types of deep groove ball bearings, single-row and double-row. The structure has two types: open type and closed type. The open type bearing is non-sealed; the closed type has seal. There are two types of sealing structure: dust-proof seal and oil-proof seal.
Single row deep groove ball bearings mainly bear radial load. When the radial clearance of the bearing is increased, it can bear radial load and axial load at the same time，similar with performance of angular contact ball bearing. It can also be used to bear pure axial load when the rotational speed is high and not suitable for using thrust ball bearings. Deep groove ball bearings can limit the axial displacement of the shaft or housing in both directions, so they can be axially positioned in both directions. In addition, deep groove ball bearings also have alignment ability, and the alignment angle can reach 10', but it will reduce the bearing life.
