There are two types of one-way and two-way thrust bearing. Two way thrust ball bearing can have spherical self-aligning spherical seat pad or spherical seat ring.

Detailed introduction

Two-way thrust ball bearing is with contact angle of 90°. It is separable bearing. It is composed of a separable shaft washer,  seat washer and steel ball cage assembly.  The thrust ball bearing cage is generally made of stamped steel plate, and the large thrust ball bearing adopts copper solid cage. Thrust ball bearings can also be provided with seat pads.

Thrust ball bearings can withstand axial loads, but not radial loads. Two-way thrust ball bearings can withstand two-way axial loads. Due to its structure, the thrust ball bearing is low speed. It can be fully filled with steel balls, suitable for low-speed heavy-duty applications.
