Double row deep groove ball bearings can only tolerate an angular misalignment of 2 minutes of arc. Larger angular misalignments can overload the balls and raceways, reducing bearings life.

Double-row deep groove ball bearings have common radial clearance, back-to-back or face-to-face combined bearings are generally supplied in the following two forms with smaller axial clearance, suffix code CA, light preload; Suffix code GA, the clearance and preload of 60, 62 and 63 series matched bearings are shown in the following table:
